In particular, TWC does not re-distribute or sell personal information collected via its website.

The TWC website (the website) may collect personal information such as name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number(s). Additional personal information, such as credit card account information, may be requested for purchases, donations, or registration for events. Credit card or other financial information is collected on secure forms and transmitted using industry-standard Secure Socket Layer Encryption (SSL) technology. USE OF COLLECTED INFORMATION
TWC may use personal information collected from its websites for the purpose of future communication back to online visitors, in order to keep online visitors informed of its mission-based activities, programs, and projects, but only if online visitors are provided the opportunity to opt out of that type of use.
TWC may use browser-IP-address information and anonymous-browser history to improve Web presentation and utilization. TWC also may use IP address information for troubleshooting purposes.
TWC web pages and extensions may use “cookies” in order to deliver web content specific to individual users’ interests or to keep track of online purchasing transactions. Sensitive personal information is not stored within cookies.
MARKETING EMAILS
Online visitors will receive confirmation emails when they register for events and activities or sign up to access content or be added to email newsletter distribution. These emails are sent to notify online visitors that their registration was successful and to provide them with a receipt of registration.
Once provided, TWC uses contact information to send electronic newsletters, marketing or fundraising materials and other information that supports TWC’s mission. Online visitors may opt out of solicitation campaigns, or opt out of receiving any email communications from TWC, by following the unsubscribe link provided in TWC emails or by contacting our executive office at (909) 797-8507 or info@wildlandsconservancy.org.

Information collected and stored through interaction with social media networks or other third-party services (such as “liking” or “sharing” content or otherwise connecting the TWC website to a third-party service), remains subject to their policies and practices. TWC is not responsible for, and makes no representations regarding, the policies or business practices of any third-party services.
