This pollinator week, Whitewater Preserve will be hosting a bioblitz focused on finding and identifying as many pollinator species as possible in the preserve’s pond area. This project is easy to join, and will consist of taking pictures of pollinators and the flowers they are visiting and uploading them to iNaturalist.
This education station will help visitors understand the role of a pollinator and how their work supports plant reproduction, ecosystem biodiversity, and the food chain.
