The Wildlands Conservancy is thrilled and honored to announce that Mike Sweeney has joined its executive team as a Senior Advisor.
Mike joins the organization at a pivotal moment. The Wildlands Conservancy remains fiercely dedicated to the entrepreneurial spirit of protecting beautiful landscapes and majestic wildlife, and is poised to expand in numerous locations across the western United States. His visionary leadership and deep expertise are the perfect catalysts to help write this next chapter of the organization’s conservation success stories.
Mike brings over 30 years of premier environmental leadership to the role, including most recently 17 years as the Executive Director of The Nature Conservancyโs California chapter and prior to his time at TNC serving as an assistant to U.S. Interior Secretary Bruce Babbitt.
