Sand to Snow National Monument
9th Anniversary Celebration
February 7 - 9, 2025
Celebrate the 9th anniversary of the Sand to Snow National Monument with us! This milestone marks a key moment in the ongoing journey to protect the stunning landscapes that define our region. These events promise exploration, creativity, and connection, and your presence helps further our mission to preserve these cherished lands.
The Sand to Snow National Monument is deeply rooted in The Wildlands Conservancy’s Sand to Snow Wilderness Interface Project, a bold initiative that spanned two decades. Its vision was to safeguard essential wildlife corridors and landscape connections linking the San Gorgonio Wilderness, Joshua Tree National Park, and Bighorn Mountain Wilderness.
Through strategic acquisitions, the Sand to Snow National Monument, established in 2016, extends crucial protection to non-wilderness wildlife corridors, ensuring that these vital connections remain intact for generations to come.
We’re excited to honor the legacy of conservation and the beauty of nature, and we’re thrilled to share this ongoing commitment with you as we continue to protect the Sand to Snow National Monument!
