COLUMBINE FALLS GROUP CAMPGROUND

Columbine Falls Group Campground is situated at the base of the Yucaipa Ridge next to the reserve’s parking lot. The campground includes a spacious tent camping area, picnic tables, potable water, flush toilet restrooms, and fire pit. Our reserve trailhead is located just north of the campground.

Our campground is open to community organizations, schools, and universities. Individual and family camping is not available at Bearpaw.

  • Community groups, schools, and universities only! No individual or family camping available.

  • Group Usage Agreement and Certificate of Liability Insurance required.

  • Tent camping only. Tents should be set-up on the perimeter of the grass area to minimize impacts.

  • No RVs or trailers allowed.

  • Propane grills and stoves permitted. No charcoal barbeques.

  • Prior approval is required for other equipment installation (e.g. hammocks, sport game nets, flagpoles, eta.)

  • No outside firewood is allowed. Firewood will be available for the firepit.

  • Practice Leave No Trace Principles. Groups must take all trash with them when they leave.

  • Groups are responsible for cleaning the restrooms upon departure.

  • No showers available.

  • No electricity available; no generators allowed.

  • Preserve trails are closed after sunset.
