DESCRIPTION:Join this Ranger led exploration of the flora and fauna of the Estero Americano Coast Preserve \nThis will be a fun and informative hike across the Preserve. We’ll discover the incredible biodoversity of life at the Estero Americano Coast Preserve from wildflowers to shorebirds and everything in between. \nThis moderatly challenging hike will take us about 4 miles and 400 feet of elevation gain across varied terrain with sweeping vistas up on the Ridge Trail down to the stunning and remote Estero beach. Bring layers\, water and a lunch. Weather can be sunny and warm or foggy\, windy and cold. \nWhat to Bring: \n\nWater\nClosed toed hiking shoes\nHat for sun\nHiking poles\nLayers for variable weather (sun/fog/wind)\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Registration opens on July 3rd at 8:00 am. \nCome and explore the Oak Glen Preserve after hours and join us for nighttime storytelling! Ages 7 and older. Please\, NO pets or strollers.  \nCHECK-IN  \nPlease plan to arrive between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. At 7:10 p.m. the entrance gate will be closed and no additional participants will be admitted regardless of reservation. The night walk will begin at 7:10 p.m.  \nWHAT TO BRING  \n\nwater\nclose-toed shoes\nred flashlight (not required though helpful) \nclothes appropriate for the weather
