On this all-day adventure, amid the heroic
scenery of Wind Wolves Preserve, you will see
world-renowned rock art sites and more large
mammals than you have ever seen before in Southern California - all within an hour and forty-five minutes drive from Los Angeles. The Wildlands Conservancy will provide vehicles, guides, meals and restroom facilities. This tour allows major donors to meet our staff, share our vision for California's largest nonprofit sanctuary, and see our beautiful spirit-of-place architecture while picnicking along San Emigdio Creek.

These newly established tours also help to fund our public visitation and outdoor education programs at Wind Wolves Preserve so that others can experience the majestic grandeur of our largest preserve.

Here's how the tour works: A donor and, preferably, friends (competition creates a fun dynamic) sign pledges to donate X amount of dollars for each large mammal sighting while on an all-day 30-mile tour. It's that simple. Below is a sample pledge sheet from a recent drive along the tour route:
Native American rock art
California black bear

California bobcat

Coyote
